  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Adjust to taste.

  • A pinch of salt Enhances flavor.
  • Cooking spray or a few drops of oil To prevent sticking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the apples thoroughly and slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. In a bowl, toss the apple slices with cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and lay the apple slices in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Cook the apple slices for 15-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  2. Keep an eye on them, as the cooking time may vary based on the thickness of your slices and the model of your air fryer.
Cooling
  1. Once cooked, remove the apple chips from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.

Notes

To keep your apple chips fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They can last for about a week. For longer storage, freeze them in a single layer on a baking sheet before transferring to a freezer-safe bag.
