Preparation
- Cut the salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
- Add the salmon bites to the marinade, making sure they are well-coated. Let them sit for about 5 minutes while the air fryer preheats.
- Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
- Place the marinaded salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through.
- While the salmon is cooking, melt a generous amount of butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add a bit more minced garlic and let it simmer until fragrant.
Serving
- Once the salmon bites are ready, drizzle the warm garlic butter sauce over them, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy!
Notes
Don’t hesitate to customize the flavors; swap salmon for another fish, use coconut oil instead of butter, or add herbs like dill or tarragon for variety.
