Ingredients

For the Salmon
  • 1 lb salmon fillets, skinless and deboned Quality salmon ensures the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adjust for more garlicky flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Add the salmon bites to the marinade, making sure they are well-coated. Let them sit for about 5 minutes while the air fryer preheats.
  4. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the marinaded salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through.
  2. While the salmon is cooking, melt a generous amount of butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add a bit more minced garlic and let it simmer until fragrant.
Serving
  1. Once the salmon bites are ready, drizzle the warm garlic butter sauce over them, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy!

Notes

Don’t hesitate to customize the flavors; swap salmon for another fish, use coconut oil instead of butter, or add herbs like dill or tarragon for variety.
