Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 piece pre-made pizza crust store-bought or homemade
  • 3 large apples, peeled and thinly sliced Fuji or Granny Smith work great
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Topping Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the pizza crust by placing it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss until the apples are well coated.
  4. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the pizza crust, making sure to distribute it well.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, flour, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples, covering them completely to create a crunchy topping.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  3. Slice and serve warm, perhaps with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Notes

For variations, try a gluten-free pizza crust or add nuts for crunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
