Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
- In a bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Chop the bacon into small pieces and mix it with the Brussels sprouts.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Cooking
- Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender and the bacon is crispy.
- (Optional) Sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
Serve hot straight from the oven as a side to roasted chicken, pork tenderloin, or steak. Cool to room temperature, then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Reheat in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 8–10 minutes to restore crispness.
