Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups instant rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the beef broth and bring it to a boil.
  3. Add the instant rice and mix well.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Top with crumbled bacon and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm straight from the skillet. Pairs well with a side salad or steamed vegetables. Consider additional toppings such as diced tomatoes, pickles, or a dollop of sour cream for extra burger flair.
