- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the beef broth and bring it to a boil.
- Add the instant rice and mix well.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
- Top with crumbled bacon and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
