  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced Diced for quick cooking.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced Adds flavor to the beef.
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt Adjust to taste.
Sauce and Cheese
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce Provides moisture and flavor.
  • 1 cup cooked rice Cooked rice is necessary for this recipe.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Melted on top for cheeseburger vibes.
  • to taste black pepper Add before serving.
Optional Toppings
  • cooked bacon, crumbled Optional, for added flavor.

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Adding Aromatics
  1. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet; cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Stir in the seasoned salt, tomato sauce, and cooked rice; mix until well combined.
Finishing Touch
  1. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover the skillet until the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. If desired, top with crumbled bacon and season with black pepper before serving.

Notes
