  • 4 fillets salmon fillets (fresh or thawed)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Juice of 1 lemon (freshly squeezed)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like dill or parsley), chopped Feel free to swap out the herbs based on availability.
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, skin side down. Brush the olive oil mixture generously over the salmon.
  4. Sprinkle chopped herbs on top of each fillet.
  5. Place a few lemon slices on each fillet.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Consider adding a honey glaze for sweetness, and other seasonings for flavor variations.
