Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add in the melted butter and stir until well combined.
- Mix in brown sugar, followed by the egg and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips gently.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them adequately.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
These cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Dough can be frozen for fresh cookies anytime!
