Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets (fresh or frozen, thawed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended for extra crunch)
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: green onions, for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with garlic powder.
  4. Dip each salmon fillet in the mayonnaise mixture, coating it generously.
  5. Roll the fillets in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even coating.
  6. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
  1. While the salmon is baking, whisk together the mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, and a sprinkle of garlic powder for the sauce.
  2. Once the salmon is out of the oven, drizzle it with the bang bang sauce.
  3. Garnish with chopped green onions for a pop of color.

Notes

Leftover Bang Bang Salmon can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, place it back in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes to crisp up the coating again. You can also microwave it, but be careful not to dry it out.
