Ingredients
  

Salmon and Sauce
  • 2 fillets salmon fillets (fresh or thawed)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha adjust for heat preference
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Garnish
  • to taste Green onions for garnish
  • to taste Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and soy sauce until well blended.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season each side lightly with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil to get it hot and ready.
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Gently flip each fillet over and immediately brush a generous amount of the Bang Bang sauce over the top. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
Serving
  1. Plate the salmon and garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds, adding a drizzle of the remaining sauce over the top for extra flavor.

Notes

Feel free to get creative with this delicious salmon dish by incorporating ginger and garlic, adding fresh herbs, or increasing the spice level with jalapeƱos. Pairs wonderfully with rice or quinoa.
