Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 8 oz Ramen noodles Fresh preferred, but instant varieties work too.
  • 1 lb Beef (flank or sirloin) Sliced thinly against the grain for tenderness.
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets Provides a delightful crunch and vibrancy.
Broth and seasonings
  • 4 cups Beef broth Adds richness to the soup base.
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Low-sodium versions work well.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil For authentic flavor.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for seasoning.
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Minced for seasoning.
  • 2 Green onions For garnish and a pop of color.

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice your beef and broccoli, and mince the garlic and ginger.
Cooking
  1. In a pot of boiling water, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add the sliced beef to the skillet, cooking until browned—around 3-4 minutes. Be sure not to overcrowd the pan!
  4. Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they're vibrant green and tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and soy sauce, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add the cooked ramen to the skillet, tossing everything until the noodles are fully coated in the sauce.
  7. Ladle the Beef and Broccoli Ramen into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Feel free to swap beef for chicken or tofu for a vegetarian version. Add other vegetables like carrots, snap peas, or bell peppers for variation. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
