Preparation
- Slice the beef thinly and cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and garlic. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer.
- Cook the beef for 2-3 minutes without stirring to achieve a nice sear. Then, flip and cook until it's just browned but not fully cooked.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and pour in the sesame oil. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender yet still crisp.
- Add the ginger and adjust seasoning with more soy sauce if desired. Stir everything to combine for another minute.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve.
Notes
Serve over white rice or noodles. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on low heat with a splash of water.
