Preparation
- Slice your beef sirloin into thin strips to ensure tenderness during cooking.
- In a large bowl, combine the tamari sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger, garlic, and honey. Toss in the beef slices, coating well, and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a bit more sesame oil if needed and toss in the broccoli florets. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the pan and stir everything together, allowing the flavors to meld for an additional 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a platter and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds for garnish.
Notes
For variations, you could omit honey for a low-carb version, add more veggies like snap peas or bell peppers, or spice it up with red pepper flakes or sriracha.
