Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the beef sausage until browned and cooked through, about 8–10 minutes. Stir occasionally to break it apart.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined and smooth.
- Once the sausage is ready, drain any excess fat and combine it with the egg mixture. Stir to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in the oven at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes. You can also microwave individual portions. Feel free to personalize the recipe with different sausages or vegetables.
