  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Enhances richness.
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic Garlic improves flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and minced garlic. Stir until well combined and the sugar dissolves.
  3. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, and place skin-side down on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Brush the prepared glaze generously over each salmon fillet.
Cooking
  1. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  2. For extra crisp, switch the oven to broil for the last 2 minutes, keeping an eye on it to avoid burning.
Serving
  1. Remove the salmon from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs, and enjoy!
