Ingredients

Brownie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Peanut Butter Frosting
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
Chocolate Ganache

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until fully combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. While brownies cool, prepare the peanut butter frosting by mixing peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  8. Spread frosting over cooled brownies.
  9. For the ganache, melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until smooth.
  10. Spread the ganache over the peanut butter layer.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator until set, then cut into squares and serve.
