Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar until well combined.
- Gradually add the warm milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for about an hour or until it doubles in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Brush melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle minced garlic and shredded cheese evenly on top.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long side to form a log, then slice into equal pieces about 12 rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush the tops with a little more melted butter before baking.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
