  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (cubed) Can substitute with other cheese varieties.
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Extra sauce for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and salt until well combined.
  3. Take a portion of the beef mixture, flatten it in your hand, and place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center.
  4. Wrap the beef around the cheese to form a ball, ensuring the cheese is fully enclosed.
  5. Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon, securing it if necessary with a toothpick.
  6. Place the bacon-wrapped balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush BBQ sauce over each ball, coating it generously.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through.
  9. Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

These bombs can be customized with different spices or herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for longer storage.
