Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier alternative.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Experiment with different types of cheese.
  • 12 slices bacon Consider marinating in BBQ sauce for extra flavor.
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Brush over bombs before baking.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Take a small portion of the beef mixture and flatten it in your palm.
  4. Place a piece of cheddar cheese in the center and wrap the beef around it to form a ball.
  5. Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Place the bacon-wrapped beef balls on a baking sheet.
  7. Brush BBQ sauce over each bomb.
Cooking
  1. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through.

Notes

Serve hot with additional BBQ sauce for dipping. For a crisper exterior, broil the bombs for the last two minutes of baking, watching closely to prevent burning.
