Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Take a small portion of the beef mixture and flatten it in your palm.
- Place a piece of cheddar cheese in the center and wrap the beef around it to form a ball.
- Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
- Place the bacon-wrapped beef balls on a baking sheet.
- Brush BBQ sauce over each bomb.
Cooking
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through.
Notes
Serve hot with additional BBQ sauce for dipping. For a crisper exterior, broil the bombs for the last two minutes of baking, watching closely to prevent burning.
