Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef with cream of mushroom soup and cheddar cheese soup until combined.
- Spread half of the frozen fries in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the beef mixture over the fries.
- Top with the remaining fries and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
This dish is best served hot and can be garnished with diced onions, sliced tomatoes, pickles, or a drizzle of ketchup and mustard. It pairs well with a simple side salad or steamed vegetables. For leftovers, cool completely before storing in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for up to two months.
