Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for an even bake.

- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt. Blend until smooth and glossy.
- Mix in vanilla extract, followed by eggs one at a time. Ensure each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, distributing them evenly throughout the dough.
- Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to drop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Centers should look soft.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze baked cookies for up to three months. Reheat in microwave for 10-15 seconds.
