Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for an even bake.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt. Blend until smooth and glossy.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract, followed by eggs one at a time. Ensure each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, distributing them evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to drop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Centers should look soft.
  2. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
