Ingredients
  

For the garlic bread bowls
  • 1 loaf loaf of garlic bread Use day-old or slightly firm garlic bread for better holding.
For the Alfredo filling
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie chicken works great.
  • 2 cups fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Grate fresh for a smoother sauce.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Chopped parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the garlic bread package instructions.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt some butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Add the shredded chicken and cooked pasta to the sauce, mixing well.
  7. Hollow out the center of the garlic bread and fill it with the chicken Alfredo mixture.
  8. Place the filled garlic bread on a baking tray and bake until golden and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve while hot.

Notes

Cool completely before storing. Wrap leftovers tightly in foil or place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven until warmed through.
