Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 strips bacon crispy
  • 8 oz pasta (e.g., penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional Chopped green onions for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add the bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and chop into bits.
Combining Ingredients
  1. In the skillet, combine cooked pasta, ranch dressing, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  2. Slice the cooked chicken and add it to the pasta mixture along with the bacon. Stir to combine and heat through.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in ranch seasoning before cooking. This dish pairs exceptionally well with a light salad or steamed vegetables. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
