Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 slices crusty bread
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, chopped Use leftover roasted or rotisserie chicken for fast prep.
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped Dry well to avoid a watery sandwich.
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing Adjust the amount for desired creaminess.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Add freshly cracked black pepper for extra flavor.
  • Parmesan cheese (optional) Sprinkle on top for authentic Caesar notes.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the chopped chicken, romaine lettuce, and Caesar dressing. Mix well.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Lay one slice of bread on a plate, add the chicken mixture on top, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread.
  5. Cut in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately while the bread is still crisp. Pair with mixed greens or a cup of tomato soup. For a more substantial meal, consider roasted vegetables or a grain salad. A lemon wedge brightens the flavors.
