Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in the cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Assembly
- In a baking dish, layer the ingredients: start with a layer of noodles, then some of the chicken, ham, sauce, and Swiss cheese.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, sauce, and topping with breadcrumbs.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Slice into portions and serve warm. Pair with a crisp green salad, roasted vegetables, or steamed green beans. Consider adding a squeeze of lemon on the side.
