- Start by cooking the orzo pasta according to package instructions. Make sure to salt the water for seasoning.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the shredded chicken, frozen peas and carrots, and cream of chicken soup.
- Gradually stir in chicken broth, mixing until everything is well combined. The mixture will start bubbling and releasing a savory aroma.
- Toss in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper, enhancing the flavors.
- Once the mixture is heated through, gently fold in the cooked orzo pasta until it’s well coated with the creamy sauce.
- Allow the dish to simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes, letting all the ingredients meld together.

Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. This dish freezes well; just remember to thaw it overnight in the fridge before reheating.
