Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, using a hand mixer, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until fluffy.
- Add in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges but soft in the center. The cookies will continue to set as they cool.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the microwave for about 10 seconds to enjoy the fresh-baked taste.
