Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix For a moist and chocolatey base, choose your favorite brand.
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree Ensures the bread is incredibly moist and adds pumpkin flavor.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips for a rich taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix and pumpkin puree. Stir until the mixture is well blended and smooth; it should be thick and almost velvety.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips gently, ensuring an even distribution throughout the batter.
  4. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  3. Slice and serve! Enjoy it fresh or let it sit for a day for the flavors to deepen.

Notes

Wrap cooled bread tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Can be frozen; reheat individual slices in the microwave or oven.
