Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pint fresh raspberries Look for firm, plump ones for the best flavor.
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate 70% cocoa is ideal for a deep flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil For a glossy finish.
  • to taste sea salt Optional, for a touch of flair.

Method

Preparation
  1. Gently wash and dry the raspberries. Ensure they are completely dry, as water can cause the chocolate to seize.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and coconut oil. Heat in intervals of 30 seconds, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Holding each raspberry by the stem, dip it into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s entirely coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  4. Place the chocolate-covered raspberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt over each raspberry for added flavor, if desired.
  5. Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator. Let the chocolate set for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Once the chocolate is firm, arrange the raspberries on a pretty plate to serve, or transfer them to an airtight container for later enjoyment.

Notes

These chocolate-covered raspberries are perfect for a romantic dessert or party treat. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, but are best enjoyed within the first day or two.
