Preparation
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and salt until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them into patties.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 30 minutes.
Dipping
- Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil.
- Dip each patty into the chocolate, covering completely.
- Place back on the parchment paper and let sit until chocolate hardens.
Storage
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for longer storage (up to 2 months).
Notes
For a cleaner dip, use a fork to lift patties from the chocolate and tap off excess. If the filling is too sticky, add a little more powdered sugar a tablespoon at a time.
