Baking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each ball slightly with a fork.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze them in a single layer on a tray until firm, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
