Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls, then roll them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and flatten them slightly.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
