Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cut hot dogs into bite-sized pieces and mix them with the spice blend.
Assembly and Baking
  1. In a baking dish, layer the tortilla chips or bun pieces, followed by the hot dog mixture, then top with chili and cheese.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until heated through and cheese is melted.
