  • 1 cup Cooked chicken, diced (or turkey for a twist)
  • 4 slices Crispy bacon, crumbled Toast before adding for enhanced flavor
  • 1 cup Tomatoes, diced (cherry tomatoes recommended) Adds sweetness
  • 2 cups Lettuce, chopped (romaine adds crunch)
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, cubed
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise A must for creamy dressing
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard For a zesty kick

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, diced chicken, crumbled bacon, diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce, and cheddar cheese.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

This pasta salad is versatile and can include ingredients like avocado, different cheeses, fresh herbs, or vegetables. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
