Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if using an oven. Gather your ingredients and a small oven-safe bowl or skillet.
  2. Spoon the cottage cheese into your bowl to form a creamy base, patting gently to make an even layer.
Assembly
  1. Spoon the marinara or pizza sauce over the cottage cheese in an even layer.
  2. Scatter the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan over the sauce.
  3. Add diced tomato, peppers, olives, or mushrooms, and sprinkle with oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes.
Cooking
  1. For oven: Place the bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 8–12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and just beginning to brown.
  2. For microwave: Heat on high for 1–2 minutes until cheese melts and sauce is warm.
Serving
  1. Remove carefully, garnish with fresh basil or parsley, and serve hot.
