  • 1.5 lb ground chuck Juicy meat for the burger
  • 3 Tbsp sour cream Adds moisture and flavor
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix For seasoning
  • cup cooked and crumbled bacon Adds smokiness
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For extra richness
For Serving
  • Hamburger buns To serve the patties
  • Lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo Toppings for the burgers

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined but do not overmix.
  2. Form the mixture into 6 hamburger patties, ensuring they are the same size and thickness.
  3. Press a small dimple in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while grilling.
Grilling
  1. Grill the patties on medium heat until they reach desired doneness, checking with a meat thermometer.
  2. Let the burgers rest for a few minutes after grilling.
Serving
  1. Serve the burgers on toasted buns with lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo.

Notes

Refrigerate cooked burgers for 3–4 days or freeze raw patties for up to 3 months. Do not overwork the meat when mixing, and consider experimenting with toppings.
