  • 2 cups frozen peas Thawed and rinsed if icy
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled Cook until crispy
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup sour cream Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar Adjust for brightness
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the frozen peas, crumbled bacon, and diced red onion.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If dressing firms up, stir in a teaspoon of vinegar or a splash of milk before serving. Avoid freezing.
