Ingredients

Meat Sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef or ground turkey for less grease.
  • 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce For a saucier lasagna, add an extra 1/2 cup of pasta sauce.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Lasagna Layers
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli Fresh ravioli can be used, but check for doneness after 2 hours.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Sprinkle extra on top when serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Assembling and Cooking
  1. In a greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
  2. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  3. Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each cheese.
  4. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
Serving
  1. Let the lasagna rest for 5–10 minutes after removing the lid to firm slightly.
  2. Serve with a crisp green salad, garlic bread, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

Avoid lifting the lid while cooking; it drops the temperature and extends cook time. Stirring is unnecessary; layering ensures even cooking and presentation.
