Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets freshly caught or responsibly harvested
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard for that tangy kick
  • 2 tablespoons honey to balance the flavors
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for moisture
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill or parsley for garnish (optional but recommended)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine Dijon mustard, honey, and olive oil. Stir until well blended.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season them with salt and pepper.
  4. Generously coat the tops of the salmon fillets with the Dijon mixture.
Cooking
  1. Put the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Remove the salmon from the oven, sprinkle with fresh dill or parsley, and plate beautifully.

Notes

For a healthier twist, use Greek yogurt mixed with lemon juice as a substitute for the Dijon and honey mixture. Consider adding citrus slices on top before baking for added flavor.
