  • 12 ounces Pasta Penne works well, but any shape can be used.
  • 1 jar Marinara sauce Homemade adds a personal touch, but jarred is fine.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese For a gooey, melted topping.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese To add an extra layer of flavor.
  • to taste Seasonings (Italian herbs, salt, pepper) Enhances the overall flavor of the dish.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large baking dish, combine the frozen meatballs, uncooked pasta, and marinara sauce. Toss everything together until well coated.
  3. Pour enough water to cover the pasta, ensuring it will cook properly during baking.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese generously over the top.
  5. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, allowing the cheese to bubble and turn golden.
  7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be customized with veggies or different sauces. Serve hot decorated with fresh herbs and side salad.
