Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Feel free to add more for garlic lovers!
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can swap with half-and-half for a lighter option.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Lemon, for a zesty finish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it starts to bubble.
  2. Add the shrimp, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
  3. When the shrimp is nearly done, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Slowly add the heavy cream to the skillet, stirring consistently to combine.
  5. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley and a squeeze of lemon, if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on low heat in a skillet to retain moisture. Pat the shrimp dry before cooking to ensure they sear nicely. Adjust seasoning to taste.
