  • 1 can (29 oz) peaches in syrup, drained Feel free to substitute with fresh or frozen peaches.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar Divided.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Make sure the butter is fully melted.
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon for sprinkling Optional

Preparation
  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Baking Dish: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or a tablespoon of butter.
  3. Mix the Batter: In a large bowl, combine the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk and melted butter until fully mixed.
  4. Add Peaches: Pour the batter evenly into the prepared dish, then spoon the drained peaches over the top, distributing them evenly.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Cool and Serve: Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving. Dust with cinnamon if desired.

Notes
