Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a large oven-safe baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Spread the torn croissant pieces evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle the diced Canadian bacon over the croissant pieces.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture uniformly over the croissant and bacon layers, allowing the croissants to soak up the mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the casserole.
Baking
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Once it's out of the oven, drizzle your favorite hollandaise sauce over the top.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives before serving.
