  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil For marinating.
For the Potatoes
  • 2 large russet potatoes (diced) Can substitute with baby potatoes or fingerlings.
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil For tossing with potatoes.
For the Garlic Butter
  • 6 tablespoons butter Use high-quality for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic Add garlic off-heat to avoid burning.

Method

Marinate the Steak
  1. In a mixing bowl, marinate the diced steak with soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and 1 teaspoon olive oil for 15-30 minutes.
Prepare the Potatoes
  1. Wash, peel, and dice the potatoes into 1-inch pieces, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
  2. Toss the diced potatoes with seasoned salt and another teaspoon of olive oil.
Cook the Potatoes
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook the seasoned potatoes for 15-20 minutes until tender.
Cook the Steak
  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated steak bites and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
Finish with Garlic Butter
  1. Mix melted butter with minced garlic before drizzling it over the cooked steak bites and potatoes.

Notes

Allow steak to rest a few minutes after cooking for juicier bites. Serve with additional garlic butter and optional garnishes like parsley or chives.
