Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz fresh goat cheese Feel free to use flavored varieties like herb-infused.
  • ¼ cup honey Choose raw or artisanal honey for depth of flavor.
  • 1 cup walnuts, roughly chopped Can be swapped for pecans or almonds.
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish Adds an aromatic touch.
  • Baguette or crackers To serve as the base for your bites.

Method

Preparation
  1. If you’re toasting your walnuts, place them in a dry skillet over medium heat. Toast them for about 4-5 minutes or until they’re fragrant and golden.
  2. Slice your baguette into ½-inch thick pieces and lay them out on a baking sheet for easy assembly.
  3. Spread a generous amount of goat cheese on each slice of baguette.
  4. Drizzle honey over the goat cheese, allowing it to drip down the sides.
  5. Sprinkle toasted walnuts over the honey-drizzled goat cheese.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme or rosemary.
  7. Arrange the bites on a platter and serve.

Notes

These bites are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about 2 days. To reheat, briefly warm in the oven.
