Preparation
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place a tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle a generous amount of cheese over half of the tortilla.
- Add any additional fillings if desired.
- Fold the tortilla over to cover the cheese and cook until the bottom is golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the burrito and add butter to the pan, cooking until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted, another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve with salsa or avocado if desired.
Notes
Keep fillings minimal and dry to avoid a soggy interior. Reheat leftovers in a skillet for the best texture.
