Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs until a dough forms.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion out the dough and roll into balls.
- Roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat.
- Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Press a red candy heart into the center of each cookie before baking.
Baking
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer on a baking sheet until firm, then transfer to a freezer-safe container or bag for up to 3 months.
