Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package Oreo cookies Regular or double-stuffed Oreos can be used.
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup Green candy melts For coating the truffles.
  • 1 oz Red candy melts (for eyes) Melted for decorating.
  • 1/4 cup Mini chocolate chips (for eyes) Placed on top while coating is wet.
  • optional White chocolate For additional decoration, if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix them with the softened cream cheese until well combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
Coating
  1. Melt the green candy melts according to package instructions.
  2. Dip each ball into the melted green chocolate and coat evenly.
  3. Place them back on the baking sheet and let the excess chocolate drip off.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, use red candy melts to create small eyes and add mini chocolate chips.
  5. Allow the truffles to set completely before serving.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. For longer storage, freeze them in a single layer and then transfer to a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
