Preparation
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix them with the softened cream cheese until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
Coating
- Melt the green candy melts according to package instructions.
- Dip each ball into the melted green chocolate and coat evenly.
- Place them back on the baking sheet and let the excess chocolate drip off.
- While the chocolate is still wet, use red candy melts to create small eyes and add mini chocolate chips.
- Allow the truffles to set completely before serving.
Notes
Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. For longer storage, freeze them in a single layer and then transfer to a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
