  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Brings a lovely aroma to the dish.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Adds depth to the flavor profile.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season to taste.
  • a pinch paprika or cayenne pepper Optional spices for extra kick.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the carrot strips, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until the carrots are evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Spread the carrot fries in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring there’s space between each piece for even cooking.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through until they are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Leftover carrot fries can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For best texture, reheat in an oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes.
