Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces.
- Melt the butter and stir in vanilla.
- Whisk sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl until uniform and fragrant.
Cooking
- Toss each biscuit piece in the melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Place the coated bites into the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space for air to circulate.
- Cook for 6 to 7 minutes, then gently shake the basket and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Remove to a cooling rack for a couple of minutes, then roll in cinnamon sugar if desired.
Notes
Using store-bought biscuit dough keeps this quick, but a simple choux or homemade reduced-fat dough works if preferred. For a vegan option, use plant-based dough and vegan butter.
